Janet HiltonJanet Hilton (Clarinet) studied at Manchester and Vienna, and during a distinguished international career has appeared as a soloist with most major British orchestras, in Europe, the USA and Canada. She has recorded much of the clarinet repertoire including chamber works and concertos.
Also a leading teacher, Janet Hilton was Head of Woodwind at the Birmingham Conservatoire and then for 12 years at the Royal College of Music until stepping down in 2010, although remaining a professor.

Pavlos CarvalhoPavlos Carvalho (cello) studied with Stefan Popov before going to the Royal College of Music, graduating with distinction and continuing there as a Junior Fellow. He appears regularly as soloist and chamber musician in England and abroad, including a duo with Jakob Fichert and as a member of the LPO Chamber Ensemble and of the Trio Belle Epoque, which has won prizes in a number of international competitions. He also plays the bouzouki in traditional and modern Greek bands.

Jakob FichertJakob Fichert (piano) graduated with distinction from the Musikhochschule Karlsruhe and took a postgraduate course at the Royal College of Music, continuing there as a Junior Fellow. He has won a number of prizes at international competitions both as a soloist and a chamber musician, has performed at venues including the South Bank, Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall and the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, and has recorded for Toccata Classics and Naxos. Chamber music and the lied repertoire have been at the heart of his performing career. He is Senior Lecturer at Leeds College of Music.
